Thomas Webb for Harrach Moroccan Glass Covered Vessel Pair

An elegant pairing of color and ornament, these numbered Thomas Webb Moroccan glass covered vessels bring together soft blue, chartreuse green-yellow, and white ribbed panels. Hand-painted floral and scroll enameling enriches the surfaces, creating a tapestry-like decorative effect with a beautifully balanced interplay of color and detail.

The covered forms offer a harmonious presentation as a pair, equally suited to a mantel, console, or carefully arranged collection of antique art glass. Their decoration is reminiscent of antique glass described as “Moroccan Tapestry”; that comparison describes the ornamental character rather than establishing a documented pattern name.
