Frequently Asked Questions

Shipping & Packaging

Shipping costs are calculated based on the size and weight of each individual item, ensuring you only pay for what your piece requires. Shipping insurance is included in your shipping cost, protecting both you and us to ensure every piece arrives safely and every purchase is fully covered. Please note that we currently ship within the United States only.

Every antique in our collection is treated with the utmost care during packaging. We use a 'box within a box' method — each item is carefully wrapped and secured inside an inner box, which is then placed inside a larger outer box with additional cushioning. This double-layer protection ensures your treasure arrives safely and in perfect condition, ready to continue its story in your home.

Due to the fragility of our antiques, the packaging process for each item is recorded prior to shipment — giving you complete peace of mind and full transparency from our hands to your door.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping times vary depending on your location and the size of the item. Once your order is carefully packaged and recorded, you will receive a tracking number so you can follow your treasure every step of the way.

What condition are your items in?

All of our pieces are vintage or antique and may show age-appropriate wear, patina, or minor imperfections that are consistent with their age and history. These characteristics are part of what makes each piece unique. Any significant condition details will be noted in the individual product descriptions.

Accuracy of Descriptions

We make every effort to accurately describe and photograph each item in our collection. Colors may vary slightly due to photography lighting and monitor settings. Minor variations in appearance are not grounds for a return. All items are represented to the best of our knowledge as genuine antiques or vintage pieces; however, JoAnn's Antiques, LLC is not responsible for third-party appraisals or valuations.

Damaged in Transit

Every shipment is fully insured and the packaging process is video recorded prior to shipment — protecting both you and us with full documentation of each item's condition before it leaves our hands. In the unlikely event that your item arrives damaged, contact us immediately — within 48 hours of delivery — with photographs of the damage and the packaging. We will make the claim to the carrier and provide you with further instructions.

Signature Confirmation

For higher-value items, signature confirmation may be required upon delivery to ensure your purchase reaches you safely. Please ensure someone is available to receive the package, or make arrangements with the carrier for an alternate delivery time.

Do you accept returns?

Due to the aged nature of antiques, all sales are considered final unless an item is grossly misrepresented. If you believe an item was grossly misrepresented, contact us within 1–3 days of delivery at info@joannsantiquesllc.com with your order number, a detailed description of the discrepancy, and clear photos of the issue or undisclosed defect.

⚠️ Do not ship items back without email authorization from us. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

What if a return is approved?

Items must be shipped back within 7 days of approval in the exact condition as when they left our store, using a trackable, insured shipping method. Altered, cleaned, or damaged items are ineligible for a refund. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility. Approved refunds are processed within 3–5 business days.
