Antiquing has always been a shared love for us; a pastime of exploring history and hunting for hidden gems. But the true heart of our story belongs to my husband's Aunt JoAnn. She was a highly skilled, fiercely passionate antique dealer whose expertise spanned everything from rare, high-quality art glass to striking Mid-Century Modern designs. Together with her husband, Uncle Richie, a proud U.S. Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War; they spent decades traveling, searching, and collecting the most highly sought-after treasures in the industry.
When Aunt JoAnn passed away in 2024, we traveled to visit Uncle Richie, intending to simply help him catalog and list some of her stunning vintage jewelry. What was meant to be a short, practical visit completely changed our lives. As Uncle Richie shared the stories behind each piece, we felt the profound love, history, and passion stitched into their collection. We realized right then that this incredible lifetime of work couldn't simply end. We wanted to carry on her legacy.
